Our Leadership Team

Patrick Booth

President

Patrick Booth was a part of his family’s business at the very beginning in 1991, and has had years of experience leading high performing sales and marketing teams and developing business strategies to adapt to the changing IT landscape. Under his passionate direction as president, CCB has experienced unprecedented growth and has been recognized by Microsoft on numerous occasions for sales performance and expansive industry leadership. He has been chosen to be on select partner advisory councils for Microsoft and SYNNEX, a four-billion-dollar worldwide distributor. Logan McCoy

Vice President of Services

After graduating from Carthage College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy, Logan began his career in Sales at CCB and was quickly promoted to Vice President of Sales. Under Logan’s leadership, CCB produced three consecutive years of record sales by guiding his team to provide customized, quality service to over 40,000 customer accounts nationwide and developing strategic relationships with top industry manufacturers. He recently transitioned to Vice President of Services, eager to develop our constantly growing services team and continue to lead CCB in the IT industry.

Fun Fact: Logan held his high school's record for discus throw and competed as a decathlete at Carthage College. He pulls for the Minnesota Vikings in the face of his green and gold state of residence.

Melody Bernhardt

Vice President of Marketing

Joining CCB in 2008, Melody was brought on to develop and manage vendor relationships and has been integral in establishing new industry connections including authorizations with Apple and Lenovo. As VP of Marketing, she runs a full functioning marketing department that continues to include the management of industry relationships. With over 20 years of marketing and business experience, she has continued to find new and innovative ways to engage CCB’s customer base. Melody holds Bachelor degrees in Marketing and Communications from Olivet Nazarene University and is active in several technology marketing engagement boards.

Stacey Neideffer

Vice President of Accounting and Finance

Stacey rounds out the executive team with fourteen years of financial industry experience and eight years of managing accounting teams, including her current team of four. She has implemented strategic procedures and controls that have enhanced the quality of CCB’s accounting processes and systems. She has undertaken various measures to control costs, which has lead to increased income for the company and improved pricing for customers. Stacey graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and has served on User Group Boards for Great Plains.

Fun Fact: Everything Stacey does centers on family. She does not just like to cook, she likes to cook in bulk, which works out well since she also likes to buy in bulk; these tendencies plus her accounting instincts make her an avid couponer.

Chris Booth

CEO

In 1991, A. Chris Booth, founder and CEO, established CCB as the first authorized IT solution provider to exclusively work with nonprofit organizations. Prior to CCB, Chris served in corporate executive positions for over thirty years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee and a Financial Management degree from the Wharton School of Business.

Nearly 30 years ago, he and Patti founded the Marina Ministry, a worship group that conducted inter-denominational services at Racine's ReefPoint Marina during the boating season. In addition, Chris is often referred to as "The Colonel" because of his striking resemblance to Colonel Sanders.

Patti Booth

Co-Founder

Patti Booth, co-founder of CCB, has filled a variety of roles within the organization since the very beginning, including human resources, accounting, payroll and logistics. CCB would not be where it is today without her dedication and sacrifice to help CCB grow into the company it is today. Patti is a native of Arlington, VA, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Tennessee.

Read more about Patti and the story of CCB.

Fun Fact: Patti founded and also led the Racine Bible Study Fellowship — a regional in-depth interdenominational Bible study class for women — for more than 20 years. Adam Heusdens

Director of IT

Keeping IT running

As Director of IT, I oversee the data and telephony infrastructure that makes up CCB. My job is to keep our technology up and running so we can help you with yours.

Why I love CCB

I worked at CCB back from 2006 to 2008, then left to work as a consulting IT engineer for a couple of firms in the greater Milwaukee area. I came back to CCB because I really enjoy the easy working atmosphere created by the people I work with here.

About Me

I was born and raised in Racine, WI and my wife and I enjoy hanging out with friends and family and catching up on the latest technology. My wife and I are indeed world travelers; we have been to four of the seven continents and plan to visit all but Antarctica.

Tell me about YOUR business

I love seeking out new opportunities to connect with other local business; I enjoy learning about their businesses and sharing about CCB and our story. Essentially, I enjoy going on a lot of first dates with hopes to turn them into second and third dates down the road and then possibly a “marriage” of some kind. I am passionate about CCB because CCB is passionate about me. They constantly give me the tools to build my skills and talents.

My school and work

I earned my bachelor’s degree from UW-Parkside in business with and emphasis in accounting. When I got out of college I spent a year or so working in development at the YMCA. From there I went into full blown sales. My job prior to CCB was working for the local newspaper and doing Advertising Sales.

What I enjoy

My passions outside of work are my family, music, reading, cooking, and being outdoors. I have three kids, Grace, Sophie, and Quinn, a husband, Mark, and a golden retriever, Bo. My kids also share my love of music and we spend most of our days singing and dancing around the house. My great grandmother once told me “A singing person is a happy person.”

I love to karaoke! I am very impulsive when it comes to trying new things… especially hair styles. Sometime they work out and other times…. not so much.

Director of Human Resources

Why I love what I do

As the Director of Human Resources I work closely with the president of the company to oversee policy and procedures, benefits, and wellness programs. I love getting to work with every employee in the company; participating in growth on the ground level with each team member is a truly special part of my job.

About me

My husband and I love spending time with our four dogs (two border collies and two bichon mixes whom we call our kids) and our family (especially our beautiful granddaughter). We travel to places like Northern Wisconsin, California, Tennessee, and far across the pond to England. We also love going to concerts, especially Bruce Springsteen!

Fun fact

My husband Pete is from the England, and we met through my sister’s pen pal when I was 15. We wrote for a while, but then didn’t reconnect until 25 years later. Shortly after reconnecting, Pete came to America and we were married! I’ve now been married to my best friend and longtime sweetheart for 13 years.

What I like most about CCB

CCB has a positive environment where people genuinely care and respect each another. We work as a team, supporting and encouraging one another.

Outside of work

Being in sports my whole life I have a competitive nature and I like to stay active. I enjoy going to the gym, lifting weights and sports (basketball, football and baseball). I spend a lot of time with my dogs, friends and family, and girlfriend. I also coach and referee basketball, and have donated time training kids to play.

Computers + People = Endless Possibilities

I am passionate about my work at CCB because of our focus on helping people get the most out of their technology. When we succeed, it’s a beautiful thing! My interest in computers was first piqued when I was in middle school. The self-taught computer guru at our church saw I had an interest and took me under his wing. Since then, I haven't stopped learning all I can about computer technologies.

My experience

I have worked professionally in IT since 2006, during which time I provided IT support for home customers, small to mid-sized businesses, and public schools, troubleshooting just about any piece of computer technology people cared to throw my way. I have had my hand in creating websites, support documentation, and training videos. I am also one of the few people I know that is as comfortable behind the keyboard of a Mac as with a PC.

When not solving your IT troubles…

I love spending time with my wife and playing with my two young boys. I also enjoy reading current tech articles, classic literature, and listening to eclectic music. I've been dabbling at making different things in the kitchen, and for a few years now have been baking all our family's bread from scratch.

My amazing job

I get to talk to people all day long and help problem solve and meet their IT needs – and in-between I enjoy camaraderie with my co-workers. How great is that? I love the entrepreneurial aspects of what I do here at CCB. There’s never a sense that I’m just punching the clock to earn a pay check. I’m fully-engaged in my work and always building toward something.

My life

Growing up in Nashville, TN I used to dream of all of the magical snow… that I now get to shovel here in WI. More seriously, I’m very thankful for the business experience I’ve had over the past 15 years here in the greater Milwaukee area. I’ve gained a skillset that I was not always wired for.

My family

My wife and I carve out regular date nights and usually go to the movies to see the latest superhero or fantasy film. I’m always halfway through a novel and enjoy grappling arts as well as regular game days with a group of long-time friends. Guiding priorities in my life include serving in our local church and raising our kids to have a humble Christian character with a genuine mindfulness of the needs of others.

Fun fact

I’m kinda’ stuck in the 90s – burning CDs and such. Throughout the year, my family and I burn a list of favorites that ends up becoming the continually-looped soundtrack of our lives for the subsequent months while taxiing around town in the mini-van. Might as well enjoy it all together. [Insert still shot of midair, family high-five.]

I even helped build homes for one summer when the business first started.

Every summer we get together with my husband’s side of the family for a week to enjoy boating, ATV riding, swimming and target shooting. I also enjoy spending time with my three grandchildren.

CCB helps me grow

I was the afternoon receptionist at a manufacturing company in Racine, WI for about a year before starting at CCB in 2010. I’m happy I’ve come here for many reasons; first, while working at CCB, I’ve been able to acquire my administrative assistant associate’s degree and have been promoted into my current position. Second, I love that CCB is a Christian-based, family-oriented company that really cares about their customers and employees.

Fun in Wisconsin

I am originally from the Kenosha, WI area, but when I met my husband in 2008 I moved to Racine, WI. I enjoy spending time with my husband, our chocolate lab, Snickers, and our family and friends. I really enjoy reading mystery novels and watching my favorite TV shows on The CW; that is my way of unwinding from a busy day. I am a Cheesehead, go Packers! Also, make that a Brewers, Badgers, and Admirals fan while you’re at it. Gotta support our state’s teams!

My experience

I was born and raised right here in Racine and got my first experience in IT on Best Buy’s Geek Squad. I went on to earn an associate’s degree in IT Network Specialty from Gateway, then got my Bachelors of Science in MIS from MSOE.

While at MSOE, I worked on the Tier 3 IT Infrastructure Support team until graduation. I also worked for Northwestern Mutual on the Windows 7 rollout for their home office and on the N-Tier/Tier 3 support for over 15,000 employees across the U.S. For the last three years, I have been supporting a Racine elementary and middle school in all facets of IT.

Career path to CCB

I learned about CCB through my CCB sales rep when I worked with them to acquire Chromebooks for the Racine schools. My favorite thing about CCB is that it feels more like a family than a company and I enjoy coming in each morning.

What I like to do

As an avid geek, I love to tinker with Ubiquiti network products to break, fix and improve my home network, play video games, write code and learn more about operating systems and networking. I enjoy going up north on the weekends to hunt, fish and spend time with my entire family.

Interesting fact

When I was 14, I was in an ATV accident and lost a kidney. It has yet to be found…

Why CCB stands apart

I'm passionate about CCB's approach to technology. We strive to provide the best solutions at an affordable cost. Every day, I get a chance to make a difference by providing innovative solutions to companies across the country. We uphold a level of integrity that sets CCB apart from the rest – doing what is right for our clients and customers even if it is not the straightest path.

Before CCB

I hold an associate and bachelor’s degree in two different areas of IT from Herzing University – Madison. I have worked in various IT positions over the years, ranging from helpdesk to network engineering, including a stint of independent consulting. A friend of mine introduced me to CCB a number of years ago, and as they say, “the rest is history."

Family life & out-of-work fun

I grew up in a small town north of Milwaukee called Kewaskum. My wife Lisa and I have been together for over 11 years and moved to the Racine area after college. I love that CCB values spending time with family and makes an effort to provide opportunities to do so. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our daughter, and our energetic chocolate lab. My hobbies and interests include sports, being outside, water skiing, technology, and music. I play a variety of instruments including guitar, piano, and saxophone, and write my own music. It is a rare occurrence when I don’t have music playing – my personal favorites: Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall, Led Zeppelin IV, Future of Forestry, and David Crowder.

Why I love CCB

As CCB’s Sales and Marketing Analyst, I create reports, analyze data, and offer business intelligence so that we can make strategic and informed decisions on how to help our customers. CCB serves a great purpose, helping organizations like churches, ministries, and nonprofits be more effective and use their resources to better serve people. That is something I can whole-heartedly stand behind.

How I came to CCB

I come from Waynesville, Ohio, the antique capital of the Midwest! While in high school I opted to search for a business mentor, which led me to Chris Booth, CEO of CCB. I met with Chris consistently, and when I finished a three month project for the company in one month, my mentorship turned into a job! The rest, as they say, is history.

Me outside of CCB

I enjoy taking walks with my family and playing board and card games with friends. I will own anyone at Settlers of Catan, Risk, Bang!, or Dominion. I am a huge Tolkien fan; movies, books, you name it. Lord of the Rings is the best. As a result of my Tolkein love, I enjoy many fantasy/science fiction books and movies like Star Wars (original trilogy) and Terri Pratchett books (i.e. Going Postal).

Why CCB stands apart

As a Sales Engineer with over twenty-seven years of experience in IT, with time spent in both sales and engineering, I have especially enjoyed my time here at CCB. The people I work with really care about their coworkers and customers.

Interesting facts about me

Born and raised in Madison, WI, my mother forced my sister and me to take piano lessons from an early age. The fun fact here is that my piano teacher had served in the Women’s Army Core (WAC) in WWII and taught Eleanor Roosevelt how to play piano in order to occupy her mind while her husband handled the war. Because of these piano lessons, I played in a number of bands, including a punk rock band in high school.

Other things I enjoy

• I love spending time with my family.
• I am in a trap shooting league.
• I have four scuba diving certifications (my kids were recently certified in Hawaii).
• I still write music, but stick to just piano these days. No more punk rock for me.

Something unique about me

As I mentioned, I am a certified health unit coordinator and surgical tech (I guess not a lot of people have helped with heart surgeries). Also, I LOVE bats. Why I love CCB

I love that CCB is a Christian based company! It’s a great feeling knowing I work for a company that was started to help other organizations.

My role at CCB

I started working here when I was eighteen. I had worked a few other jobs, including a jewelry store. Coming from that environment where you were told to push customers to buy bigger and more expensive items, CCB's priority to help customers save and provide them with a solution that best fits their needs has been a breath of fresh air.

My pastimes

I’m from Racine, WI originally but now live out in Lake Geneva. My husband and I like to go to the shooting range and I recently discovered that I am (surprisingly) a decent shot! I also enjoy watching my husband and children participate and compete in martial arts. I am an avid reader. I also like to write short stories, mostly children’s stories.

How I came to CCB

Because of my former field and bachelor’s degree in health and physical education, I developed a love to help people succeed in some way, shape, or form. During my job search I met Patrick Booth at my church one afternoon and he suggested that I apply at CCB. I am now in a position that causes me to drive and manage customer expectations, which I love to do.

What I love about CCB

CCB's people care about one another. If someone is down everyone else lifts them up. If someone succeeds everyone is more than willing to send out praise. The support structure that is in place keeps me going and challenges me to be better.

Mike Crawford: Readers Digest

I am an athlete through and through. I like lifting weights, playing basketball, football (go Lions!), and anything else I can get my hands on. I also have a passion to play the guitar. One of my favorite activities is to play on my church’s worship team.

Why I Love CCB

I’ve had the privilege of seeing CCB grow all the way from its infancy to its current size. The company has allowed me to grow as an employee. I’ve come to see what I can do to foster the company's expansion and my own sense of personal growth. I cannot imagine being any place but here.

Me pre-CCB

I graduated from Alverno College with plans to teach at the early childhood and elementary level, but decided that I was better suited to work with adults. I am sure children everywhere are thrilled with my decision. I still treasure interacting and working with people. I find great pleasure in realizing how diverse this world is and yet how much we are the same in our basic wants and needs.

Outside of Work

I love to hunt, fish in many different lakes in Wisconsin, and volunteer at my church and at the Wisconsin Humane Society. I truly enjoy the outdoors and all of nature’s beauty. I enjoy spending time with my family and our dog, Goose. I am quite busy keeping up with my daughter who is a junior in high school and my stepson who is a junior at UW-Whitewater.

Why I call CCB home

CCB is an inviting company to work for and the people here are passionate about what they do. I have been in the IT industry for over 27 years and I’m proud to have spent 19 of those years with CCB. The company has grown by leaps and bounds every year.

About me

I was born and raised here in the northern suburbs of Chicago. My wife Bufi and I have three kids, Blake, Brianna, and Alexa. Over the years, we’ve spent a lot of our free time at our kids’ sporting events, but we only have one left at home. We take a vacation as a family every year and recently made a trip up to Alaska. It was unanimously acknowledged as everyone’s favorite family vacation yet.

What I do for fun

Bufi and I have been married for 26 years now, and we do everything together: work out, run, bike, or just get in the car and drive around. Basically, I love spending time with my wife!

CCB is a special place

I had heard CCB received several awards for being a great workplace, and now as an employee, I can definitely see why! The environment here is great and it’s exciting to be a part of a team working towards a common goal. I really like the fact that we have a lot of nonprofit organizations as clients that work to selflessly help the community.

What I do here

Ever since I was first exposed to computers, I knew that I really enjoyed working with them. I have experience in helpdesk, desktop support, and desktop engineering and hold technical certifications with Microsoft and Cisco. My role at CCB is helping our clients find solutions to technical problems. I’ve been involved with Office 365 and networking projects for our clients.

About me

I’m a lifelong Wisconsinite who enjoys having four very different seasons while living close to family, friends, beautiful lakes and interesting cities. My sports interests include playing tennis and golf, as well as occasionally downhill and cross-country skiing. Besides problem solving with computers, I also don’t mind working on solving issues with cars.

Media Communications Specialist

Why I love my job

I am CCB’s Media Communications Specialist, which pretty much means I get to do a variety of all the things I love – photography, video, design, writing, and social media. It’s amazing to hear about the rich history of CCB and how it has developed into the company I work for today. It’s even more exciting to be involved in the new feats we are moving in.

My Experience

I’m originally from Cudahy, WI (almost Milwaukee). I went to school for journalism and English and then worked at a small photography studio right out of school, fulfilling a variety of tasks, including photography, marketing, and retouching.

Fun Facts

I still hold the indoor mile record at Drake University. I’m one of those die-hard Packer fans other teams hate (go Pack!). I go to as many Brewer games as possible even during the heat of a bad losing streak. I’ve been to 21 of 30 MLB stadiums. I love Wisconsin’s Autumn season.

Why CCB is unique

I’ve been at CCB for over eighteen years now, and it is a great place to work; you feel like a family with coworkers and customers from the very start. I love my job because of my customers; over time they become your friends, and I know them so well that I can usually recognize who is calling me before they even say. CCB makes that possible and I love it.

Where I'm from

Not only am I from Racine, WI, but I have lived my entire life in the same neighborhood (I’m now only 3 blocks from the house I grew up in). In fact, I pretty much have a family member of some sort on every block. We love being close to each other!

I enjoy…

Outside of work I love spending time with my granddaughter, Reese. I am a huge Brett Favre and Packer fan. Really, I tolerate Aaron Rodgers, but he’s growing on me.

Why I love CCB

I’m passionate about CCB because of the values the company was founded on and continues to live by. In over 20 years I’ve spent with CCB, we’ve helped many nonprofits and other customers save money on technology so they’re able to do more of what they value.

My history with technology

I am originally from Grand Rapids, MI and have a BBA from Western Michigan University. I worked for Kenosha Unified in school labs, helping students and teachers use computers when they were first implemented.

Me out of work

Outside of work, I spend time with family, mainly going to family sporting events. I enjoy biking, walks, gardening, and getting outdoors as much as possible, and when the weather isn’t nice I like to do puzzles. I’ve lived in six states including Wisconsin and liked them all; however, the Midwest ranks first for seasons and people. Lots of great things to see and do here.

Why CCB

I appreciate working at CCB because I get to help clients accomplish their goals while working for a company with a reputation for having a stellar workplace culture.

Before CCB

My professional background consisted mostly of endless nights serving countless tables at various restaurants in the Lake County area, with a bit of political campaign staffing and manual labor peppered throughout. I’ve lived in far northern Lake County for my entire life.

About Me

I love exploring local nature preserves in all sorts of weather, fantasizing about travel (preferably in mountainous regions), playing and creating music (drums, piano, vocals, limited guitar), spending quality time with my friends and family, and engaging in pointless debates about nerdy topics such as Star Wars, or whether Dumbledore could beat Gandalf in a fight.

Billing & Tax Accounting Specialist

How I came to CCB

I had just finished receiving my degree in business from the University of Phoenix when I was hired by the Village of Sturtevant. When the economy was hit hard in 2008, I lost my job and was unemployed for two years. I wasn’t sure that I even wanted to apply for the receptionist job at CCB, but God had different plans for me. Since then, I have been promoted twice and my current position is Billing and Tax Accounting Specialist.

What I love about CCB

Working at CCB is like being with family: we might not always agree, but we all get along well. I love being recognized for what I’ve accomplished. I have managers that not only allow me to take ownership of my position, but trust that I will want to take ownership. I am happy and proud to be part of CCB’s family. I believe God knew what was best for me.

About me

I am a “gramma” to four grandchildren (two grandsons and two granddaughters) who have captured my heart and I spend as much time with them as I can. I have two Boston terrier dogs who drive me absolutely crazy but my husband adores them. I collect Boyd Bears. I love to visit my friends and family, read, and play games. Those who know the real me know that I LOVE lounging in my pajamas.

Why I love CCB

I love that CCB always finds a way to use you to your full potential. In the past three years I’ve had three different positions created specifically for me—each time there was a need that I could fill in order to better serve our customers and grow professionally. I love being a part of a company that is not afraid of change, but takes it on enthusiastically. And having incredible people doesn’t hurt! I’ve seen coworkers help each other through difficult times, flat tires, new born children, and countless other circumstances.

What I do here

My focus is on inspiring my team to be dedicated to helping customers use technology more effectively. I encourage account managers to understand their customer’s goals, obstacles, and missions in order to find the ideal solution to meet their needs and create a relationship of trust.

As Joni of Joni and Friends said, “It’s because of what you guys do that we can keep doing what we do.” It’s a weighty thing to know that if we do our job well, others can further their mission. It’s why I love my job.

About me

• Before I turned 30, I was married, had three kids under 4 years old, a mortgage, and a sweet 95 lb. Rhodesian ridgeback.
• I enjoy bass fishing during the summer and bow hunting whitetail in the fall.
• I won a dunk contest by jumping over a 10 year old (yes, the hoop was 10 feet tall).
• I passed “Survivor Week” on an island in Fiji by spear fishing, climbing coconut trees, and drinking from a natural spring.

CCB’s team spirit

CCB has something special in the air. There is enthusiasm, fresh ideas and a real team spirit. Family-first is not lip-service at CCB, it’s a way of life. We have our biological family and our CCB family.

About Me

I grew up in Racine, and have been married to my husband Tom for 38 years. We have three children, all who went on to become teachers. They and their spouses have given us four awesome grandchildren. We relish weekends up north with family and I love ocean cruising. The blue waters of the Caribbean is one of my most favorite things!

Professional Life

As a Staff Accountant, I conduct month-end reporting and financial statement preparation, account reconciliations and preparation of salesman commissions in addition to working on special projects for the VP of Finance. I graduated from UW-Parkside with a BS in Business Administration with focus on Accounting and Finance and have been working in various areas of the Accounting field for over 30 years.

Why I love CCB

I love that CCB feels like a family. The company wants each employee to succeed and realize their fullest potential, and most importantly they help get us there. Everyone looks for the strengths in others and works to bring those out.

What I enjoy doing

If I could spend every night at a nice restaurant with live smooth jazz, spending quality time with my friends, I’d be happy! I also enjoy being the one behind the instrument, playing guitar and singing (favorite artists: Imogen Heap and the Cranberries). Hiking, kayaking, and spending time on the beach all make me very happy.

Fun fact

I’m from El Paso, Texas, went to college in Murrieta, California, and have since lived in Wellington, England and Kenosha, Wisconsin. Basically, I love traveling! I’ve been able to travel to nine different countries and I hope to continue my travels. My dream would be working as a “cyclist food critic” (a job I’ve invented) in Paris, riding around and trying all the food. I also hope to one day travel to somewhere with clear water and beaches to relax and enjoy the ocean.

Why I love CCB

I’m a National Account Manager, so I help customers from all over the country acquire just about any type of technology and IT service they may need. I’m passionate about CCB because I enjoy helping nonprofits save money on their technology purchases, so they can focus on their mission statements.

When not working

I attended UW-Parkside and worked towards a degree in business management before deciding to focus on my career at CCB full-time. I enjoy reading (tech blogs, fiction novels, sports articles, various news sites), rooting for Wisconsin sports teams, attending concerts whenever possible, refining my cooking and grilling techniques, visiting new cities, playing video games, trivia in just about any format, showing friends and family around Milwaukee, and participating in fantasy football leagues.

Fun facts

• I was named Time’s “Person of the Year” in 2006.
• I’m learning how to play the guitar—my goal is to open for the Rolling Stones at Wembley Stadium in the year 2032.
• I also have the ability to miss every single turn possible when driving to a predetermined destination.
