The Business Development Specialist will support the overall goals of the sales department and generate new business opportunities for CCB. They will use his/her dynamic personality to connect with prospects and inactive customers through phone and email using effective sales techniques. They will maintain a “people-focused technology” mindset, caring for the people using technology and sharing custom solutions that meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships with key decision makers to generate new sales opportunities
  • Make 50-70 outbound phone calls daily and use email to follow-up
  • Organize and track phone calls on daily spreadsheets
  • Create or update client information in CRM database
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate National Account Manager
  • Participate in all sales initiatives
  • Proactively learn about new technology solutions and products
  • Develop a solid understanding of CCB’s products and service offerings
  • Represent CCB’s values and philosophies

Qualifications

  • You love the phone and enjoy spending your time building relationships through email and phone
  • You know how to communicate professionally and effectively with managers, co-workers, partners and clients
  • You know how to manage multiple things at once and prioritize to meet company objectives
  • You work with honesty and integrity
  • You are a proactive thinker and not afraid to try new methods
  • You are flexible, tenacious, and driven to reach personal and company goals
  • You love technology and know how to use it
  • You can type fast (at least 50 wpm)
  • You have one to two years of sales experience and/or training
