Easterseals Serving Chicagoland and Greater Rockford has partnered with CCB for over 10 years, particularly evolving in 2019 when the organization faced significant technological operational challenges. When Sara Ray Stoelinga joined as CEO in 2019, CCB summarized the state of the organization’s technology (no backups, no redundancy, no firewall and aging equipment) and proposed a phased plan. The organization completed that plan, with CCB working shoulder to shoulder with its team.
As the partnership grew, CCB’s role expanded from executing specific IT projects to providing virtual CIO services that allowed Easterseals to focus on other priorities. Most recently, CCB assisted in hiring internal IT leadership, empowering Easterseals to take back control of its technology management and showcasing how adaptable and flexible a strong partnership can be.
Giving back together
In October 2023, CCB CEO Patrick Booth visited the Easterseals Academy Chicago Campus to hand out school supplies to students, as part of CCB’s Surprise & Delight outreach to give back to the community.
